CPEs is excited to welcome back Lab126 for a tech-talk next Wednesday, January 30th. Lab126 engineers will be in graphic arts (building 26) room 106 from 6-7pm. CPEs is proud to partner with IEEE, and IIE in hosting Cisco for a resume and interview workshop next Tuesday, January 29th at 5:00pm. Representatives from Cisco (including Cal Poly alumni) will be in Bonderson (building 197) room 104 to give advice on building your resume, how to do well in a technical interview, and to discuss intern and full-time positions available at Cisco. CPEs and WISH(Women In Software and Hardware) are co-hosting Microsoft for an info session on how to handle your first technical internship. It will be on Tuesday, January 29th in building 26 room 103 from 6:30-8:00pm. Titled “Surviving Your First Technical Internship”, it will cover how to land an internship, how to act during your internship, and how to follow up. There will be free food and giveaways!

We would like to update everyone on the Evernote Hackathon we announced previously. We will have positions for developers, designers, publicity and entrepreneurs. The venue is set for the Bonderson Engineering Building on the Cal Poly campus and the event lasts from Friday, February 15th to Saturday evening. Current employees and former interns of Autodesk will be fielding questions about the company, internship experiences, and their technologies.
